We have a male KBD named "Foster", 3 years old, fantastic, social, born in Liguria Region (Italy) in the deep forest in front of the sea, in the mountain at 600 metres over the sea level, close to our country house in Magliolo (SV), noth west Italy. We have our house in Milan, Italy with a large garden in the middle of a large park, and we are happy with him. Best regards.

Love your Karelian Bear Dogs! Someone has one in Marysville on the Tulalip Indian Reservation. I recognized the breed immediately. Glad that you are keeping the breed alive. Does anyone ever come to learn and train them with you?

Hello Colorado.
Tim 'n' Kim from New Hampshire here.
These are one of the most unique dogs we have seen. After the passing of our beloved companions we have yet to rescue another. We have searched high and low for the right fit. Our search is over and we hope to adopt our own
K-Bear dog sometime this year.
Please forward any and all information avalable on litter dates for 2012.
Thanks

we live in Bailey Colorado right next to 20 miles of National Forest. We are very curious about these lovely dogs. We currently have a 6 year old St. Bernard and 13 year old Pomeranian. We also have lots of bears that walk through our property all summer long, mt. lions, bob cats along with the usual forest animals, deer, elk.... Our only concern is would the dog jump the fence and go for a bear or would they just bark? It would make it difficult if the dog did jump the fence.

Nice site and beautiful dogs. As the owner of a KBD 2 years old, we cannot say enough about what a great breed they are. Loyal, loving, and protective.

Our 7 month old, Kola, with his "lady friend" Lucy. Kola is the sweetest, funniest little character and he loves everyone. Can't wait for our next pup!

We are looking for a Karelian Bear Dog. We have a great deal of land for it to run on. I just saw the litter that was born on 4/10/11. When would they be ready to go. Which is less aggressive, male or female? We are interested in one puppie from this litter. Let us know prices too please.
